Warm greetings to all of our family and friends. Where did this year go? Here's a brief summary of what we've been up to.

Katie is now 4 1/2. She started her second year of preschool in September, where she goes three mornings a week. She enjoys her teachers and is making new friends. Katie kept quite busy this summer attending swimming, tennis, and bowling classes. In November, Renee and Katie started a "Parent and me" ice skating class.

Kristi is two. She is talking more and more every day. She and Katie play pretty well together most of the time. Kristi's favorite pass times include watching Barney on TV, eating, drawing, and fingerpainting. She especially enjoys fingerpainting with ketchup! Kristi is looking forward to a "tiny tumblers" gymnastics class, which will start in January.
Renee keeps busy with the girls and the house. She worked a little more this year (the kind of work you get paid for), and is looking forward to working on tax returns from home this next tax season. She also has enjoyed kickboxing (just for exercise, not self-defense) and spinning classes at the gym.

John has been working (against his will) at Nestlé for 8 years managing an S.A.P. development team in the I.S. Department. More importantly, John enjoys spending time with the family, playing softball, and continuing to test the couch and TV for safety. Both softball teams had 5 great leagues this year. The men's league finished 3rd, 2nd and 1st and the coed team finished 3rd and 2nd. For more on the men's team checkout the web-site at http://wpffsoftball.com

We enjoyed two vacations this year. In May, we headed up north, spending time in Morro Bay, Monterey, and Santa Barbara. In August, we headed south, spending a few days in San Diego. This gave us a good opportunity to break in our new minivan, a 2000 Honda Odyssey, which we bought in February.

We wish you all a happy holiday season.
